This was our beautiful wake-up call from Lake Como. Already I'm thinking I could get use to this!
After a perfect light breakfast of assorted fruit, cheeses, and much needed coffee we headed to the ferry boat which was to take us to the lovely little towns surrounding the lake.
This old retaining wall had a beauty all it's own....
When we arrived yesterday there was much rain and this morning it looked as if it would be the same, however as we began to cross it seemed as if the Alps had decided to peak out and say "good morning" as well.
I thought this was a beautiful contrast, Mans' creation paling next to God's.
If these stairs could talk....oh the stories they could tell. Shhhh, I think I hear a rumor....
This was a magnificent blown glass chandelier that this photo does no justice!
With every town along the lake you hear the wonderful bells.
These wonderful fountains were all over the city.
